The Erie Railroad agent at Foraker, O., is Zennis Ellsworth Fanning, born forty years ago in Wabash county, Ind. Early in life he became a Western Union messenger at the Vandalia Railroad station at North Manchester, Ind., and then went to work for the Big Four railroad as an operator at Goshen, Ind. For a few months in 1905 he was an Erie Railroad operator, and then went west.

Since 1911 Mr. Fanning has been employed by the Erie Railroad, serving successively as agent at Kingsland, Ind., McGuffey, O., Crown Point, Ind., and Foraker, O.

He was married in 1907 at Akron, Ind., to Mae Gerard, and they have one daughter, Eileen, 18, and one son, Coburn, 16. Both children were born in the state of Washington.
