Winfield Spradlin

 

Winfield Spradlin was born November 27, 1877 and after living all his life in Johnson County, Kentucky, passes away Friday, January 7, 1966. Mr. Spradlin was the son of the late William and Rebecca Harman Spradlin. At the time of his death Mr. Spradlin was 88 years of age. He had been a farmer for most of his life and had continued to live at his Barnett's Creek farm until his illness six weeks ago.

Mr. Spradlin is survived by his wife Mary Jane Selvage Spradlin. He is also survived by three sons: Crate Spradlin of Springfield, Ohio; Thurman Spradlin, Orient, Ohio; and Vern Spradlin, Donaldsville, Ohio. Five daughters: Mrs. Fannie Williams, Mt. Sterling, Ohio; Mrs. Dessie Horn, Staffordsville, Kentucky; Mrs. Dorthy Adams, Salyersville, Kentucky; Mrs. Daisy Sheilds, Lexington, Indiana; and Mrs. Josephine Horn, Barnetts Creek, Kentucky.

Other survivors: include 37 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
