Elizabeth Standridge Felkins Jones Galyean

Elizabeth was the daughter of Lemuel and Margaret Blevins Standridge. She was born in about 1838, Carroll County, AR. and died in 1921.

Elizabeth married William Felkins and he died in the Civil War. Secondly, she married James Jones, who was the son of John and Alafair Meek Jones. Aunt Betsy outlived him and married a third time to Jesse N. Galyean. She lived in Ok. but decided when old age set in to return to Newton County AR so when she died she could be laid to rest by her mother and father at Sissom Cemetery. After coming "home", she lived about 20 more years, but finally was buried in Sissom Cemetery next to her parents.
