Nancy Standridge with Children
Bonnie and Loyd Standridge
This is a picture of Nancy Standridge and her children, Bonnie and Loyd Standridge. Joe Standridge and Nancy George were married Sept. 9, 1925 at the home of Willis A. George at Moore, Ar. Joe Howard lived at the end of the road not too far from Ben Hur, Ar. The water from his yard runs into Sugar Orchard Creek which empties into Falling Water Creek just below the falls. Joe Howard was born on Falling Water Creek and Nancy George was born near Bass, Ar. Nancy said of her birth, "I was born on top of a mountain where a billy goat could not go".
