There is a William Bache listed at 2 Derry Street, Kingswinford in the 1871 census (RG10/3028 f51 p13). Derry Street is within a mile of Pensnett Church.

There is a Maria Jane Merrell, born about 1845 in Birmingham, listed in the 1871 census of Bath Road, St Peter Worcester (RG10/3052 f18 p20), wife of Alfred Merrell. I take her to be the Maria Jane Williams who married Alfred Merrell at Bromsgrove 2nd qtr 1862. She is also listed in the 1861 census of Bath Rd (RG9/2094 f46 p8), in the household of Thomas and Jane Oliver, given as "Wife's Daughter". She was presumably the Maria Jane Williams born 2nd qtr 1845 Birmingham RD.
