Her first two children are inferred from the 1851 census. Henrietta is listed in 1857 as living in the household of William Hughes, described as his niece. This may imply Sarah and Levi Davies were both dead by then.
Not the Sarah Davis who died 14 March 1860 at Stourbridge (who was the wife of a James Davis), or 19 January 1861 at Stourbridge (who was the wife of a Thomas Davis). There are other Sarah Davis deaths listed, but all with a second name other than Sophia. That, plus the lack of any record of the death of Levi Davis or any reference to the family in the 1861 census, leads me to consider if Levi and Sarah might have emigrated, possibly to Australia with her brother Henry and his family. Henry Davies was, however, back by the time of the 1871 census.

The Davis family had disintegrated by 1857. As yet I have no no explanation of this.
