King's Heath, a village and an ecclesiastical parish in King's Norton parish, Worcestershire, near the border of Staffordshire, 3½ miles SW of Birmingham. There is a post, money order, and telegraph office under Birmingham, and a station on the Birmingham and Bristol branch of the M.B. The ecclesiastical parish was constituted in 1863. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Worcester; gross value, £303 with residence. Patron, the Vicar of Moseley. The church was built in 1861. There are Baptist and Wesleyan chapels, and a meeting-house for the Society of Friends. Petty sessions are held. There is an institute with hall, library, and news-room.
