The origin of the name Batth

Perhaps a variant of Bath

English: habitation name from the town in Somerset, site of sumptuous, but in the Middle Ages ruined, Roman baths. The place is named from Old English bœð bath. In some cases the surname may have originated as a metonymic occupational name for an attendant at a public bath house.
