And Amelia His Wife, Died August 20, 1940 Aged 88
At Rest Also, Millie Daughter Of The Above Died Oct. 14, 1907, Aged 18.

Monument of the South wall of the St Erth Wesleyan Chapel. Francis Maddern was the husband of Amelia Maddern (nee Stevens) Francis Maddern was a fully accredited local Methodist preacher in 1880.

 

St Erth Parish Church

St Erth Parish Church, in the foreground you can see the eastern end of the parapet of the 15th century bridge over the River Hayle. The road signs show the distance in miles to Hayle, Leedstown and Marazion, and the direction of St Erth Station. The single story building on the left is the parish hall which is used for meetings and events
