Sat, Mar 30, 1895
Mr. Snyder took first load 9 A.M. Got all moved but one load before 12 o'clock. Bessie & Grace walked to Wolcott from their place 2 miles out. In afternoon Maim and Milton came. Mr. Mosher helped John move. Mrs. Clark and Emma called this A.M. just as we were ready to leave. Has been a beautiful day. At night we all went home with Mr. Snyder. John got logs.

AH HOW THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY BRINGS BACK THE DAY I FIRST MET BYRON AND I CAN NOT KEEP HIM OUT OF MY MIND TODAY. *ASSY WHILE AT MINIES HAVE READ MOSTE ALl DAY J. OHM SNYDER AND FLOID WENT TO SLAUGHTE HOUSE. HAS BEEN BEAUTIFUL. JENNIE & MRS. SNYDER TOOK NAP. BES & GRACE TOOK NAP. THUS PASSES THIS 3 MONTH OF 1895 I DO NOT FEEL VERY WELL TODAY

John came home and had good fire built when we got here. Jennie and Mrs. Snyder put down living room carpet and the carpet in parlor bedroom. Mr. Snyder brought bullhead for dinner and John brought hearts and tongue. Has rained and froze all day. Floid came down t* in ean. Mr. Snyder could scarcely get his breath. Mr. Moor called. John whipped the carpet.

How SAD I FELT AFTER SAW *. Jennie got her pr shoes & pr hoes this A.M. Mr. Snyder came after John. Jennie and John went to Rochester. I received letter and PO order. Ans. same and got PO order. THOUGHT SAW BB WAS NOT SURE. Had Bessie get dinner sausage. Will Rogell called. An agent called. Looked like * Buel Brooks. I put down part of reception room carpet. A beautiful day. MY MY THIS DAY.

Finished putting down carprt in reception room. Whipped some on the white room carpet. Has been ples. I feel quite bad tonight. Seemed like asthma. Bessie and I retired 8 P.M. Did not light any lamp. Not any light last night either. Has been quite ples. Charley Merrill called. Did not come in the house. B. and I had just retired. Good reason. Ha ha.

I met Byron Killon & Maim this A.M. I have not felt very good today. Whipped carprt and couch. Cleaned out barn a little. Mrs. VanHorn called. I went to see Colonel Wood. Mrs. S. sent Mont little message. Received letter from Jennie. The folks are getting better. That's good. Retired early. Bessie braided my hair. Have puttered all day, putting things away.

Finished cleaning couch and mopped kitchen. Cleaned out in the barn. Mrs. Bennet and Miss VanHorn called. Mrs. Colonel Wood called to see me about papering the kitchen. Bessie went to a party. I made her loaf cake. Has been quite ples. I read while then I retired. I had a dream of my Jaspers. A strange dream. This night his eyes looked as of your so large.

It rained a part of the day. Bessie helped me put the canned fruit in the coubord. I cleaned cellar and fin. cleaning up the barn. Bessie and I took good bath. Received letter from Jennie and Clarence. I took 2 of the carpet stretchers to Beehwoods to get fixed. Sent John shirt to laundry. Sent let & circular to O. M. Dolley. Friday nights dream of Jasper and bright as I saw him in my night dream.

Had just gotten fire built when door bell rang. Mr. V. Mosher if you please and a beautiful heat for our breakfast and delicious too. Bessie went to Sabath school & I have been reading. Has been a beautiful day.

Has rained nearly all day. Colonel Wood brought a man to take paper off of the kitchen. I took clothes out on line after it quit raining. Mr. Mosher put line on the carpet. Mr. Egner took carpet up stairs. Ettie came up little while. I got carpet stretcher from Mr. Beehwoods. Clarica called. Bessie went to get butter. My how tired I was when I got back.

John came home. Was here just long enough to say how dedo and then was away. Went to Red Creek tonight. I sent Mr. O. M. Dolley a carpet stretcher by the stageman this A.M. Fixed bottom beaureau drawer & ironed some. Mopped kitchen floor. Has rained nearly all day. Now I go to my rest. Good night.

Have tried to keep house warm for paper hangers. Colonel Wood called to see how the work was progressing. I have not felt very well again today. Sent Jennie letter tonight. Bessie wrote her Mama nice long letter. Mr. Snyder got me up some wood. They commence mooning (?) today. The got all through papering 8:30 P.M.

Finished ironing. Have not felt very good. Had to rest several times.
QUITE DIFERENT THAN 9 YRS AGOW TODAY THER= BYRON TOOK ME TO HIS HOME. MY O DEAR BB HOW I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT. BUT NO IT IS BEST AS IT IS. They got the painting all done at 6 P.M. then at night one of the painters came and painted the floor. A beautiful day.Fri, April 12, 1895
Bessie took carpet stretcher up to Snyders. I made mince meat. Belle lamb called. I cleaned the windows up stairs today. I had coffee royal for my big breakfast 12 o'clock, early for me.

Received letter from O. M. D. telling me not to send c. s. but its gone. A few lines from J. & J.B. Mr. Mare hung four of the curtains. Alex came to door and said he & Belle would come back in little while. Mrs. Bennet and Clari called. Alex and Belle were married this night.

Have had good many callers. First Ona McQueen, Mr. Moor, Mr. Snyder. Then Bertha came home with Bessie in the eanning. Mr. & Mrs. Snyder, Grace, Mr. & Mrs. V. Mosher & Mr. Lamb called to see John. Has been a beautiful day. Oh, another Easter has come and I am all alone. O so alone. But my thoughts live over the past. Wrote to Jennie. How have the dear ones I love.

Has rained a part of the day. Mr. Moor came and hung the parlor curtains. Mr. Mosher started to take the doors down in parlor but helped Snyder instead. I did not feel very good all day. Birthy was here for dinner. Mr. Mosher brought me a nice fish.

I washed the windows up stairs. Set sponge. Has been quite ples. Bessie racked some of the straw off the yard. I gathered it up to burn. Received letter from Jennie. Mr. Mosher came and finished fixing the doors and cut up all the wood, The neighbors are all very kind.

Has been a perfect day. I made bread, pie, oat or rolled oat crackers, fruit cake and men calling took tea at Mrs. Snyders. She, Mrs. S., Grace and I went to the 6.20 but no John as we all looked for. I wrote Jennie. Called on Mrs. Mosher. Alex called. I met Belle first time since she was m.

Received to letters from Jennie. In one $5.00 to get carpet stretchers. I went to Ex office to get them. Jennie Olmstead met me and went over there with me. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder took me for a drive. I drove. Has very ples. drive. Mr. Mosher fix carpet on line.

Have been quite busy all forenoon. Cleaning up stairs in afternoon. Mr. Moor came, hung the shades in the rooms up stairs. Also fixed front door so I could lock it. He cut his hand quite bad. I called to Mrs. Mosher's. She sent me up some **al. Ettie called. I mended hoes. A beautiful day.

Received letter from Mother. Cleaned up *ips from of back yard and under barn. In the afternoon Etta & Grace called. Bessie went with them for walk. I washed parlor windows. Mrs. Chellog spoke this AM. First time I have been where she had an opportunity of speaking. I sewed or rather mended hoes. Has been beaytiful. I could not get to sleep this AM after 4.

Have passed the day writing to Ma and reading. Bessie went to Sabath school & League. Mrs. Bennet and Clarissa called and stayed long time. Lovely day and the birds sing so sweet. Mr. Mosher called. Also … No I guess that was all that called.

Had the lace curtains in the wash. In afternoon I papered two boxes. Jennie Olmstead called.

Took me just three hours to iron lace curtains. In forenoon swept & dusted. Blanch Conklin came to play with Bessie. My but how my legs ache. Mrs. Snyder called.

Have been mending all forenoon only. When I was raking up chips Charley Carell took tea with me for Bessie stayed to Snyder's. Mrs. Snyder and Grace came up in the eaning. Has been a beautiful day.
Thur, April 25, 1895
Received letter from Jennie with $3.00 enclosed. Have patched all day. Jennie Olmstead came and went to Ex office with me. I got the carpet stretchers 1* doz $5.75 and extra 18 cts to be delivered. A horse saddle today at Winchel's barn. I called to see Mr. Mosher's mother and sister. They are strangers here. Met Mrs. Snyder.

Cut carpet rags and sewed quite good sized ball. Mended some under clothes for Bessie. Have felt quite bad all day. My cold got tighter. Took good whiskey sling. Alex called in afternoon. Did not come in the house. Grace came home with Bessie.

Finished the mending & sewed carpet rags. Hung dining room curtain. Bessie went down to Florence Conklin's. Grace Snyder called in the eanning. Alex stoped. My but my lungs ache. I took hot lemon and whiskey and greased my chest with skun oil. Has been quite ples. but quite chilly.

Bessie got her own breakfast. I did not feel like getting up. Grace came and went to church with Bessie. Mr. A. Moor called. Clarence Olmstead called. My Jennie came home. Has been a beautiful day. Bessie and Grace went to services this eanning.

Jennie fixed carpet down in the room she says is my room. I have felt little better. Have no fault to find. The rags I improve in ean. Bessie and I went over to Mrs. Snyder's. Jennie hung pictures and put up lace in my room. Mr. House called. Stopped to the place where we just the line. Has been beautiful.

Have been busy all day. Jennie and I moved the large * burner out of the parlor. I did not know I could lift so much. Jennie put down parlor carpet and * worn carpet. Mr. House called tonight instead of next night. Jennie is not feeling very well today.

Jennie finished putting things to right today. In the eanning went down st. Had great time. I got pair of laced shoes. Paid $3.00. Mr. Wall's gave us nice piece of livver. Has been beautiful day & the nights are lovely. J. thought she got good joke on me. I enjoyed the consequence.

I cut carpet rags all aft & Jennie worked this A.M. In eanning went down st. Jennie got goods for door. Came home early. Charley Merill over took me and came up after a basket he left long ago. My but I was tired when we got back to house. Has been a beautiful day.

In morning Jennie & I went down bank to get flowers for Bessie. Jennie, *, and I cut rags. Berth Emarill & a Mr. Russells little girl told Mr. Wells I said I was going out to his place & steal a turkey, the little mischief. We did get Mr. Snyders carriage drove up to their front door. Gathered kindling wood too.

Jennie made doughnuts, pie and tarts. I lyed down a part of the day. My but it tires me to climb that hill in ean, Went down st. Met good many people I had made acquaintance here in Wolcott Jennie ane I went down to pond after dinner.

Today is the first time have attended meeting in Odd Long. Jen, Bessie and I went to Presbyterian church this A.M. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder, Jennie and I went up to Helens. Did not get out of rig. Byron was there. Also several others. Has been a beautiful day. At night after got home. Ah, this is a lovely night.

Mr. and Mrs. Snyder came after Jennie and I and we all went out to their farm after load of hay. Bessie got hurt on head. In eanning we all went down st. A day to be thankful of God and great goodness. In fact * I can lift my voice in gratitude for his great mercy to me. Today John is 34 years old.

Jennie cut out Bess dress. Mrs. Snyder called. I cut carpet rags. Has been quite ples. Did not go down st. tonight. Jennie, Bessie and I went for walk. I got board for kindling wood as usual. The nights are lovely. I got my feet fearfully wet. Jennie too. Carpet stretcher to Sherwoods.

IT DID NOT RAIN AT 6 PM BUT I THOUGHT
Have been cutting rags all forenoon. In afternoon Jennie and I went over to Snyders. AS WE PASSED THE HOTEL BENJIMEN OLMSTEAD SAT ON HOTELL POARCH. Jennie Olmstead called Mrs. Snyder came up to the house and we waled back to PO with her. J. and I sat on poarch and watched people go past and J. took walk all alone.Thur, May 9, 1895
Have sewed carpet rags all day. The first I ever sewed on a machine. Jennie, Bessie, and I went to prayer meeting. After got back sat on porch long time. Jennie worked on Bessie's fress. The nights are lovely. Met Mrs. Batton, Mrs. Wild, Mr. Deusenberg at prayer meeting. Broke a machine needle.

Has been a lovely day. I sewed carpet rags all day. Jennie sewed on Bessie's dress. The Wolveen girls were here to play with Bessie. Jennie set sponge. Did not mix it up until after 12 o'clock. I did not get to bed until nearly for Jennie and I had to talk as usual.

Jennie made pie and bread. I sewed carpet rags until I broke the needle. J. & I have been unusually quiet all day. In the afternoon went and lyed down. Jennie O. came while Jen was down st. My how it did rain. Mr. S. called. I wrote in my diary.

In morning, Jennie, Bessie and I went to church. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder and people, Mr. and Mrs. Mosher and daughter, Mr. Frank Egner came here in the ean. Mr. S. and wife, Mr. Mosher and wife, G&E, J., B., & E. all went out to Snyders farm to get lilacs. Has been very cold all day.

Has been a splendid day. Ettie called this A.M. Jennie washed. I swept in afternoon. J., E., and I took walk. Called on Mr. J. Egner. Mrs. Snyder gave me a call. Jennie went to Helen's with Snyder's. Mrs. C. Berch called to see me. Has been windy and cold out of the sun. Mr. Prevost called.

I finished the ironing. Jennie has been sick all day. She went to schoolhouse with Bessie's lunch and after her at night. I took good sling and went to bed. Alex called, took some of the papers.

Has been a beautiful day. Jennie fixed her night dress. I fixed my black skirt to my black salter dress and my *. Mrs. Snyder called. Jennie went to the PO with her and out to the farm after corn and oats with them in the evening. I slept on the couch all night.

Jennie and I fixed hoes all forenoon. In afternoon went down to Snyder's and Grace and I dropped potatoes for her Pa and Eugene Lansing. In the ean, Mrs. S. and Grace went to Prayer meeting with us. After meeting met Ona McQueen and she came home with us. Has been cold but quite bright. The horses were sick.

Jennie, Ona and I started to walk out to Sulivan's. Left home 10 A.M., got there 11:45 A.M. Had lots (?) from Jennie. Left 2 of the carpet stretchers. After dinner Mrs. Sulivan, Stell the girl, & I all went to the sawmill then walk back home. Got home 5 P.M. Joseph Brightman came just as we got home. A beautiful day.

Joseph left here this A.M. at 8:30. Has been a beautiful day. Jennie made pie, cake & tarts. I made the bread. Has been quite ples. My but my lips are chapped. After got up stairs came back after the lamphor ice. Jen and I had scrable on the floor. Little girls play.

Has been quite cold day. Mr. & Mrs. Snyder took din with us. In morn we took lunch & went to Church. J. Olmstead people brought her here. She and Earn was here when we got home from Snyders. Did not go to Church. Had cake and for lunch. A chilly night in fact a frost.

In afternoon, Jennie & I went up to Helen's. Oh, I mean in the morn. Helped plant corn in the afternoon. Alex brought us home. A tel phone awaiting Jennie from John at night. Jen Olmstead, Earn Campbell, & Fred his bro and a Mr. Horas Snyder came up to play cards. Quite cold.

Jennie went to tel phone at 8 o'clock and did not get back until nearly 11. Alex came after Jen & I. Took us for a little ride. Helen sent cow milk. Bessie stayed all night with Helen.

Mrs. Snyder brought her waist up for Jennie to fix. In the afternoon we went out south west with the carpet stretchers. Had great time. Came up the railroad track for long ways.

Stell Sulivan got here 3 P.M. I was taking my nap. In ean there was nearly a dozen here playing hide and seek. There were Stell, Ona, Jennie, Jen, Horas, Jopher, Earn, Charley, Stells brother, Benjamin Olmstead. What lots of fun. Had nine too gess yoss (??). A lovely night.

4 OCLOCK IN THE MORNING In morning attended service at the M. E. church. In afternoon, Mr. Snyder took the carriage & we eight went over to the bullheads at Sabath. My how it did rain before the close of the service & how it did rain after we got home. I could not sleep for little while for the thoughts did surged through the mind.

Mr. & Mrs. Snyder came after Jennie & she helped them get there tobacco in the afternoon. 5 P.M. Mrs. S., J., and I took little walk. My how the wind did blow.

Jennie hung up the cloths & the men washed the carriage. Went up to McQueens. Stopped to Helen's. Stell & Belle had gone over to McQueens. J. went home with Stell. I rode part way home with Mr. Sulivan. Has been very warm. Eck got new mower.

Mr. Snyder got us load wood. Jen & I went with him out to Buttler Center. A lovely day to ride. In aft went up to Eck's and helped Mr. Sulivan plow corn. Mr. & Mrs. Wm or toney Burnette were there. Mr. B. helped me. He cowvered and I droped seed. Jen got letter and draft from John. My but * well. No matter. I'll not say.

Has been a very hot day. Mrs. Snyder and Grace, Mrs. Sulivan took dinner with us. It was to warm to go to the cemetery or to see the ballgame. At night Jennie, Bessie, & I attended prayer meeting.

I have not felt very good all day. The heat just prostrates me. Stell came up to the house. She and Jennie went back down st. I did not feel like going. I baked and Jennie ironed. Has been quite ples. Mr. Snyder came & sit & sit until I got so near I could scarcely appear sinel. (?)

MY BABY GOT VERY ANGRY AT ME.
I did not get up until 10 O'clock. In afternoon, Jen and I started for Lambs but Alex over took us & had to ride for Jen to hear from Rochester. She could not get ready to help. I helped Belle. Plowed corn. All of Stell & the girls had great time. A person called. Did not find out his name. ONE MERE TIME TO REMEMBER WITH THANKS.Sun, June 2, 1895
Has been quite warm. Today is communion services. Jennie and I went. Bessie and Grace stayed to Sabath school. Mr. Snyder and Mr. & Mrs. Bennet called at night. Bessie and I attended services. Met Jen Olmstead. She went to the house & Jen went away. I wrote in my diary until 10:30 then lyed down on couch.

BB GOES TO LYONS TO MNEDNE*** 3 AM.
In the forenoon Jennie fixed up *. Mr. Moor called in the afternoon. Jen & I went down st. In ean went out in country to take a machine. Took off one shoe and walked in the sand. Went to see Mrs. Snyder. She is quite sick. Met Byron & had quite a visit. At 2 P.M. Jennie & I had a good laugh over the person who called.Tues, June 4, 1895
Was awake this 2 A.M. by some one rapping. I could not locate the sound at first. Jen went down st. I wrote to Mont. Has been very warm.

Today Jennie is 31 yrs old. Has been beautiful silly day. Alex came down. N. Prevost called. Has been a pleasant eanning. I did not feel very well & lyed down on couch and did not go to bed until after 1 o'clock. I wonder what will come next.

Jennie went down to Mrs. Snyders to help her fix her waist. I did the baking. It has been quite warm. Belle came down little while. Mont got here 6 P.M. Was a play in town. Did not any of our crowd wish to go. Stell Haras came up home with us. Had game of Pedro.

Mr. Snyder took his team and he and S., Jennie, Mont and I went out to Byrons. Had delightful ride and the snowballs on the old farm looked beautiful.
SAW *ENLIMAN AT HIS GRANPARIANTS in the cars. Mr. Snyders people & we all went to the Presbyterian church. HAD LITTLE RIDE IN A DIFFERENT RIG HA HA MYMon, June 10, 1895
Mont, Jen and I went down to Snyders to call. I lost my glove as usual. Stopped at hotel and got some beering. It is a warm day. Left home for Owasco 11 A.M. Reached Fleming 6 P.M. Stayed here until 8 Arrived at bro. Wm at 12 PM. Had quite time getting back on right road as was directed wrong. Had gum & candy to amuse myself little while.
