AUSTIN, Arden Carol
Was born January 17, 1935 in Carlisle, Iowa to Connie and John Jameson. She passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006. Arden Married Wayne E. Austin in 1953 and was a homemaker for many years. She returned to school and graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1983 and her Masters in 1985. She worked for the State Auditors Office in Bellingham until her retirement in 2003. Arden enjoyed many activities, especially her involvement at the Garden Street United Methodist Church. Arden was well known for her beautiful voice and ability to cheat at cards. She is survived by her children, Michael (Lesley) Austin, Patricia Madsen, Beth Gleason and Mark Austin, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as her mother Connie Jameson and sister Connie Bent. She was preceded in death by her father, husband Wayne, sister Kay and grandson Benjamin. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11 AM at Riverside Mausoleum Chapel 508 N. Government Way. HAZEN & JAEGER VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. PINES RD, SPOKANE VALLEY, WA 99206, is in charge of arrangements.
