Tho. Bradbury, Richard Wells and Edward French take care of her estate for her comfortable subsistence, to see her house finished, according to the agreement with Wm. Osgood, and in case of need to sell part of her estate for the finishing of the house and procuring stock. Salisbury Quarterly Court Records, vol. 1, leaf 21. Ordered 9:2:1667 that the estate of Thomas Hauxworth, deceased, some-time of this town, be committed to the improvement of Onezeverous Page, who married said Hauxworth's daughter, who was to provide for the maintenance of the relict of Hauxworth, his wife's mother. Page had power also to exchange or sell part of the estate, with the approbation of Tho. Bradbury and Ric. Wells. If his mother-in-law proved more than ordinarily burdensome to him by reason of her age and other infirmities, the town of Salisbury should afford timelly help. Mary was commoner and taxed, 1650 and '52; m. Belshazzar Willix."; "Belshazzar Willix (or Willip), of Salisbury; m. after 1642, Mary --- (wid. of Thomas Hauxworth). He was in S. in 1648; taxed in 1650; d. Jan. 23, 1650-1[S]. She was adm. his est. in 1651; but commoner in 1650 and taxed in 1652 as wid. Mary Hauxworth; recd. land in S. in 1654 and taxed for the Hall farm as wid. Willix; d. July, 1675[S]. The Nk. Co. court rec., 1664, states that she had been in a 'strang kind of distracted and distempered condition' for a long time, and had a guardian appointed."
