This is a collection of genealogical data presented primarily in a family group format which has been derived from various sources. The collection is primarily from Chase County, Nebraska, but extends into the surrounding counties, and beyond.
Chase County is located in what is known as the Southwest corner of the State of Nebraska. The County was organized in 1886 by splitting off the western part of Hayes County. Chase County is bordered on the south by Dundy County, on the east by Hayes County, on the north by Perkins County, and on the west by Phillips County, Colorado. Chase County is a rectangle, 25 miles north-south by 37-1/2 miles east-west. The town of Imperial, population about 2000, is the county seat.
