Swimming Beach SWIMMING BEACH

The main swimming beach is located in Southeast Cove. At low tide the sand flats stretch out for quite a distance and the returning tide gets warmed passing over the sands making swimming at that time very much like being in a bathtub. On either side of the swimming area are rocky areas where children as well as some adults enjoy exploring in the tidal pools picking up crabs, starfish, periwinkles, shells, etc.
