   Captured about 1 mile from White House Landing by a unit of Wade Hampton's Cavalry.
   Sent to Lynchburg Prison - Escaped but was recaptured
   Sent about 5 months at Libby, Belle Isle , Miller and Andersonville Prisons
   Was paroled at Andersonville by assuming the identity of a prisoner who had died (Code #40582)
