[End of Dunn Roll] J.W. Dunn, U.S. Indian Agent. We undersigned, Freedmen of the Creek tribe of Indians do hereby acknowledge to have received of L. N. Robinson, Supt. of Indian Affairs for the Southern Superintendency, the sum of Seventeen 34/100 Dollars, each, being the amount to which we were entitled in a per capita payment made to the Creeks March, 14th, 1867, in which payment, we were refused any share for the reason that we were of African descent. |
