This is an enhanced copy of the 1839 Tythe map, the boundary lines have been made clearer and the buildings have been coloured red. The Grove house can be seen as the center building in a group of three in area numbered 343. To the left of The Grove building, slightly higher is shown the Coach house and Stables and to the right of The Grove house is an unknown building.

The Gate House or lodge can be seen at the bottom of the picture between area's numbered 343 & 342, (the kitchen garden), together with buildings mentioned in the shedule in the area numbered 344.

It can also be seen that there was an entrance to The Grove Estate, as is now, across the common.
