     Caroline Daron was born on 5 July 1846 at York Co., Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Philip Daron and Eliza Wolf. Caroline Daron married Wesley Barton Poff, son of Elijah Poff and Sophia Winters. Caroline Daron died on 1 October 1928 at York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 82. She was New Tag Obituary from a 1 October 1928 York Co., Pennsylvania newspaper:

"MRS. BARTON POFF, DIES AT HOME IN HELLAM TOWNSHIP

Mt. Pisgah, Oct. 1 - After a short illness, Mrs. Caroline Poff, wife of Barton Poff, residing in Hellam township, near this place, died at 5:45 o'clock this afternoon. She was aged 82 years, two months and 27 days. Death was due to complications and infirmities incident to her advanced years.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Harry, at home; one brother, Edward Daron, York, and three sisters, Mrs. Leah Hall, York; Mrs. Samuel Wilgus, Maytown, Lancaster county, and Mrs. Harry A. Dellinger, this place.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home. Further services will be held in the Mt. Pisgah Evangelical church. Rev. B.F. Hoffman, of Yorkana, and Rev. J.W. Welsh, of Yorkshire, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Macpelah cemetery at Yorkana. The funeral arrangements are in charge of Undertaker G.W. Anstine, East Prospect."
