He was New Tag Obituary from a September 9, 1916 newspaper:

"ARTHUR SAMUEL DELLINGER

As a result of a sickness of ten days f rom Bright's disease, Arthur Samuel Dellinger, twenty-two years old, died yesterday morning at 2:30 o'clock at his home, 349 East Philadelphia street. He was a member of the Pleasureville United Brethren church, having been a native of that community. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. Frank Dellinger, two brothers, Hiram and Morgan, and four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Warner, Kate, Minnie and Ada Dellinger, survive him. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock from his residence, 349 East Philadelphia street, Rev. J.P. Koontz, pastor of the Second United Brethren church, officiating. The body will then be taken to the Pleasureville United Brethren church, where further services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Koontz, assisted by Rev. Mr. Canoics, pastor of the Springets United Brethren church. Members of the Arrow club, of this city, of which the deceased was a member, will act as pall bearers. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church."
