He was the son of the late Lee and Maggie Moss Dellinger, husband of the late Ruth Stamey Dellinger, worked in the textile industry. Survivors: Daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and Dean Williams, Sandy Dellinger, Lincolnton; sister, Nellie Carpenter, Claremont; granddaughter and spouse, Deanna and Greg McGinnis, Lincolnton; great-granddaughter, Martha McGinnis, Lincolnton. Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday, Warlick Funeral Home, Rev. Leon Davis. Burial: Hollybrook Cemetery. Visitation: 90 minutes before service, funeral home. He was buried on 13 May 2000 at Hollybrook Cemetery, Lincolnton, Lincoln Co., North Carolina.
