Was a farmer and operated a full sized farm either as an owner or as a tenant in Neuenburg/Bruchsal. He later became a grave digger in Oberacker. Bruchsal, with Catholic Church records beginning n 1687, was only 11 km. west of Oberacker, where Protestant Church records began in 1567.

According to the Oberacker Local Family Book, in 1697 there was 49 inhabitants of Oberacker, 12 married couples, 24 children and 1 single person. That group consisted of: Mayor Keller, the juryman Melchior Schaufele, widower Bartholomaus Paquet, Hans Jakob Velte and his women, citizen Paul Dellinger, Jakob Mayer, Johann Adam Schaufele, Johann Jakob Weber, Hans Dellinger, Martin Balduf, Wilhelm Balduf, Jerg Silcher and his dumb sister-in-law, David Knab with his wife and 5 children, the married persons Michael Knab, Jakob Becker, a widow with 1 child, Thomas Knoll, a widow with 2 daughters, Thomas Weber, a widow with 1 little daughter and 2 orphans of her daughter, Lorenz Balduf and Theodore Moschis' daughter.

He married Idabelle Bowders at York, York Co., Pennsylvania, on 26 June 1939. He married Doris Mae Anstine. Harold died on 14 May 1996 at York, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 74. Retired crane operator

YORK —Harold "Heps" Dellinger, 74, of York, died Tuesday at York County Nursing Home. He was the husband of Doris M. (Anstine) Dellinger.

The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 902 Mount Rose Ave., York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dellinger was born Sept. 6, 1921, in Yorkana. (Gladfelter) Dellinger.

He was a crane operator for the former A.M.F. Co. and Harley-Davidson Inc., retiring in 1980.

Mr. Dellinger is also survived by four sons, Harold Dellinger, Jr., of York, Terry Dellinger of Wisconsin, Michael Dellinger of North Carolina and Donald Dellinger; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Marlyn Dellinger, Richard Dellinger and Robert Dellinger, all of York.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Edward H. Yarnell." On 16 May 1996 at York Co., Pennsylvania.
