He married Lydia Lieberknecht at York Co., Pennsylvania, circa 1841. Johan was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census at Hellam Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania.      Johan Jacob Dellinger was born circa 1732. He was the son of Heinrich Wilhelm Dellinger and Anna Rosina (?). Johan Jacob Dellinger married Catharina Ochs, daughter of Matthias Ochs and Anna Maria Steitz. Johan Jacob Dellinger married Anna Maria Margaretha Dubs, daughter of Jacob Dubs and Veronica Welker. Johan Jacob Dellinger was land contract in 1788; John Jacob in 1788 purchased 100 acres of land, on which the present Dillingersville is situated and upon which he erected an oil mill which he operated in addition to his tilling the soil of this and hiss other lands until his death. He died on 5 December 1803.
