Mary Arnold at
Hellam Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, on 23 August 1866. Jonathan was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census at
Chanceford Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. He resided at
York, York Co., Pennsylvania, in 1913, at 586 Salem Ave.. Jonathan died on 9 November 1921 at

"Jonathan Dellinger
Jonathan Dellinger, a veteran of the Civil war died suddenly about 5 o'clock Wednesday evening at his home, 157 South Newberry street. Death was caused by apoplexy. He was 77 years old. Mr. Dellinger was a retired farmer, having formerly resided in Hellam township. He resided in York during the past 20 years. He was a member of Company H, 187th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry and was a member of General John Sedgwick post, No. 37, Grand Army of the Republic. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Dellinger, and the following children: Mrs. Ida Silar, Potosi; Mrs. Jacob Kinard, Red Lion; Mrs. Mary Minnich, York, and Charles Dellinger, Philadelphia. One brother, George Dellinger, Chanceford, and two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Butcher, Dallastown and Mrs. Anna Axe, this city, also survive. The funeral will be held Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock. After brief services at the house the body will be taken to St. Luke's church, near Conrade, this county, where concluding services will be held. Interment will be made in St. Luke's cemetery."

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from his residence, 157 South Newberry street, Sunday, November 13, at 9:30 a.m. where services will be held. Interment in St. Luke's cemetery, near Conrada."
