Bakersville, Mitchell Co., North Carolina, on 8 March 1887. He was the son of
Franklin Avery G. Dellinger and
Elizabeth "Bettie" Barnett. He married
Elizabeth Maude Morrow at
Greeneville, Greene Co., Tennessee, on 26 December 1906. Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1910 Census at
Greene Co., Tennessee. The 1910 Greene Co., Tennessee census shows Thomas Dellinger as a laborer with a crew that repairs public roads. Living with him are his wife, Maude, age 22, daughters Vivian, age 3 and Ruth age 2, his mother-in-law, Emma Morrow, who is a hotel chambermaid and his brother-in-law, James Morrow, age 13.. Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census at
