     Samuel Kirkpatrick Gaston was the son of Hugh Gaston Jr. and Mary Kirkpatrick. Samuel Kirkpatrick Gaston married Nancy T. Cooper, daughter of Henry Cooper. Samuel Kirkpatrick Gaston was land contract in 1816; In 1816, Samuel sold 300 acres of land to Nicholas Arrowsmith. He followed this sale up by selling a lot of land on 27 October 1817 to Arrowsmith.

Ferilla Burgess, age 45, born in South Carolina. He began military service. He married Mary Jane Goble on 4 August 1864. Samuel died on 16 May 1896 at age 71. His body was interred in May 1896 at South Carolina at Pleasant Grove. Samuel does not have a stone marking his grave..
