Robertson Graham owned land in several places at different times, including Kentucky, Iowa, Kansas and in different counties in Indiana. He owned a farm that is now a part of the city of Bloomington. The land that Rose Hill Cemetery sits on was part of this farm.
Robertson was born at
Kentucky on 7 November 1795. He was the son of
Thomas Graham and
Jane Cloyd. Robertson Graham began military service in 1812. He married
Phoebe Moberly in August 1821. Robertson Graham was land contract on 14 December 1838 at
Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana; Robertson Graham purchased land in Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana, Section 25. He married
Sabina Loughmiller in 1849. Robertson was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census at
Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Robertson was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census at
Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Robertson died on 14 June 1885 at
Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana, at age 89. His body was interred in June 1885 at
Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
