Carrie was listed as Paul E. Dellinger's wife on the 1920 Census at East Prospect, York Co., Pennsylvania. MRS. P.E. DELLINGER IS TAKEN BY DEATH AT EAST PROSPECT

East Prospect, March 9 - Mrs. Carrie Malverna Dellinger, wife of Paul E. Dellinger, died at 4 o'clock this morning at her home here following a lingering illness of a complication of diseases. She was aged 54 years, one month and 24 days. Her sister and brother, Mrs. John W. Kline, this place, and Dr. R.S.K. Hannigan, of Wollaston, Massachusetts, are also ill, the latter seriously, at the present time.

A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Hannigan, Mrs. Dellinger has been a resident of this vicinity for nearly her entire life. She was charter member of True Blue council, No. 186, Sons and Daughters of Liberty, this place, and was an active member of the lodge, having been a member of the degree team for many years. She was also a member of Zion Evangelical church, this place.

She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Dellinger; three sons, Chester E. Dellinger, York; and Donald and Paul Dellinger, Jr., at home: two brothers, B.M. Hannigan, this place; and Dr. R.S.K. Hannigan, Wollaston, Mass; three sisters, Mrs. John W. Kline, this place; Mrs. Burman Fife, York; and Mrs. Harry Wagner, Wrightsville; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, with a brief service at the late home at 2 p.m., and further services in Zion Evangelical church, this place. The pastor, Rev. C.D. Pewterbaugh, will officiate. Interment will be made in the East Prospect cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of George W. Anstine, local funeral director." Will Be Buried at East Prospect With Military Honors On Wednesday

LONG CAREER IN NAVY

East Prospect, March 28 - Word was received here tonight that the body of Chester G.M. Hannigan, who ided in France on Easter Sunday, 1918, from pneumonia, being found dead in bed, will arrive here for burial tomorrow. The body will reach Wrightsville on the 7:30 a.m. train and will be take in charge by Undertaker George W. Anstine.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at this place, with interment in the East Prospect cemetery. The American Legion post of Wrightsville will be in charge and will accord the dead soldier military honors.

He was a first class pharmacist's mate and at the time of his death was acting as superintendent in a hospital. He had enlisted four times, and was eligible for retirement had he returned at the end of his term to this country.

At the outset of the war he was serving on ships which escorted the transports with American troops to France. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Hannigan. Surviving him are the following brothers and sisters: D.M. Hannigan, East Prospect; Dr. Roscoe Hannigan, Quincy, Mass; Mrs. Paul Dellinger, East Prospect; Mrs. Harry Wagner, Wrightsville; Mrs. Blanche Fife, York."
