Chester Co., South Carolina, on 13 March 1808. He married
Mary D. Moffatt before May 1835. Samuel was listed as a member of a church at
Monroe Co., Indiana, on 23 May 1835. He bought property at
Monroe Co., Indiana, on 20 January 1836. He was census 1840 in 1840 at
Monroe Co., Indiana; The following family is found in the 1840 Monroe Co., Indiana census with Samuel Harbison listed as the head of household:

Richland Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Samuel died on 8 April 1856 at
Monroe Co., Indiana, at age 48. His body was interred in April 1856 at
Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana, at United Presbyterian Cemetery.
