Highmount, Feb. 20 - Miss Esther Hilt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hilt, and John Henry Dellinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dellinger, both of Hallam RD 1, were united in marriage at a candlelight service Saturday evening in the Fairmount Evangelical church. The ring ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. D. Philip Smeltzer, in the presence of a large group of relatives and friends.
The bride was attired in a blue gown and white accessories - and wore a veil and halo of orange blossoms, and a corsage of pink rosebuds and sweetpeas. Her sister, Miss Myrtle Hilt, who was maid of honor, wora an aqua gown and hat and had a corsage of yellow rosebuds and daisies. The best man was Elmer Hilt, brother of the bride, and the ushers were Lester Fahringer and Lawrence Hilt.
Mrs. George White was the organist, playing 'The Bridal Chorus,' 'Blest Be the Tie That Binds,' and the 'Wedding March.' George White sang 'Sweet Mystery of Life' and 'Oh Promise Me.'"

York Hospital, York, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 65. She was buried on 24 June 1985 at

Mrs. Esther D. Dellinger, 65, of York RD 11, died at 3:30 a.m. today at York Hospital.
She was the wife of John H. Dellinger.
Mrs. Dellinger was born in Lancaster County, and was a daughter of the late William H and Nettie G. Hilt.
She was a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church and Sunday School. Mrs. Dellinger was a former Sunday school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Church Women.
Survivors include:
One daughter - Faye A. Fahringer, York RD 11.
A son - David J. Dellinger, York RD 11.
Three grandchildren.
Five brothers - Earl Hilt, York RD 12; Charles Hilt, York RD 11; John Hilt and Elmer Hilt, both of Hallam, and Lawrence Hilt, York.
Two sisters - Anna Eisenhart, York, and Myrtle Armold, York RD 11.
Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairmount United Methodist Church, Highmount. The Rev. Warren A. Swank, her pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Highmount Cemetery.
