He married Elizabeth Brake, daughter of Johan Jacob Brake and Maria Elisabetha Kiefer, on 13 November 1776. George Jackson was election between 1786 and 1790 at Virginia; George served in the Virginia Assembly from 1786 to 1790. He served as a member of the Virginia Constitutional Constitution in 1788. He married Nancy Richardson on 6 November 1814 at Muskingum Co., Ohio. George Jackson married Nancy Richardson on 6 November 1814 at Muskingum Co., Ohio. George Jackson was migration at Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio; George moved his family to Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio, where he became a member of the Ohio legislature. He was influential enough to help move the state capital from Chillicothe to Zanesville. He died on 17 May 1831 at Zanesville, Muskingum Co., Ohio, at age 74.
