Bascom Allie and
Lillian Houk. Edith Alice Allie married
David L. Dellinger, son of
Cloyd L. Dellinger and
Anne C. Lorentz, on 30 July 1936. Edith Alice Allie died on 20 December 1999 at
St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, at age 86. She was buried on 23 December 1999 at

Edith Alice Dellinger, 86, Monticello, died Monday, Dec. 20, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born June 11, 1913 to Bascom and Lillian Houk Allie, in Iowa. She married July 30, 1936 to David L. Dellinger. He survives. She attended Rolling Prairie High School and operated a restaurant in Wolcott for several years. She lived in Wolcott from 1933 -49 and then moved to Monticello. She was a member of Monticello Christian Church.
She is survived by sons, Marvin Dellinger of Solana Beach, Calif, Roger Dellinger of Oceanside, Calif. and David Dellinger of Janesville, Ga; daughters Cindy Robat of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Donna Johnson of Fairfield, Calif; sisters, Irene Oberlander, Wolcott and Rosemary Young, Brookston; brother, Raymond Allie, Rensselaer; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters.
Private graveside service was Thursday at West Point Cemetery, Wolcott, with the Rev. Jim Childress officiating. Foster Funeral Home, Wolcott, was in charge of arrangements." On 29 December 1999 at
