Schlosskerche, Meisenheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, on 12 December 1730. Anthony Keller I immigrated on 25 November 1740 to
Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; Came to America 25 Nov. 1740 on the ship Loyal Judith, Captain Lowell Paynter, with wife and 3 children. The ship sailed from Rotterdam and made a stop in Deal.
Anthony settled in Berks County, Pa. Reuben Paules, a descendant, claimed that Anthony settled in the area of Berks known as Tulpehocken. The village he left in Germany, Lettweiler, is in the vicinity of Bad Kreuznach and Sobernheim (pop. 237 in 1997) in Rhineland-Palatinate. Nearest big cities are Mainz and Mannheim, each about 30 miles away. Lettweiler is about 15 miles from the Rhine and 2 1/2 miles from the Nahe. Anthony died in 1783 at
Pennsylvania.
