Anthony was born at
Lettweiler, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, in 1710. He married
Anna Maria Barbara Schatto at
Schlosskerche, Meisenheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, on 12 December 1730. Anthony Keller I immigrated on 25 November 1740 to
Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; Came to America 25 Nov. 1740 on the ship Loyal Judith, Captain Lowell Paynter, with wife and 3 children. The ship sailed from Rotterdam and made a stop in Deal.
Anthony settled in Berks County, Pa. Reuben Paules, a descendant, claimed that Anthony settled in the area of Berks known as Tulpehocken. The village he left in Germany, Lettweiler, is in the vicinity of Bad Kreuznach and Sobernheim (pop. 237 in 1997) in Rhineland-Palatinate. Nearest big cities are Mainz and Mannheim, each about 30 miles away. Lettweiler is about 15 miles from the Rhine and 2 1/2 miles from the Nahe. Anthony died in 1783 at
Pennsylvania.

Pop-up Pedigree Anthony was born at
Tulpehocken Twp., Berks Co., Pennsylvania, circa 1744. He was the son of
Anthony Keller I and
Anna Maria Barbara Schatto. He married
Maria Elizabeth Kohler at
York, York Co., Pennsylvania, circa 1769. Anthony Keller II lived circa 1772 at
York Co., Pennsylvania; Came to York County from Berks County, Pa., about 1772. First lived on a small farm about midway between Canadochly Church and the village of East Prospect. Anthony was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at
York Co., Pennsylvania. Anthony died on 1 January 1817 at
Lower Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. His body was interred in January 1817 at
Lower Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, at Canadochly Cemetery. His tombstone reads:
"Hier ruhen die gebeine von Anthony Keller. Ist gestorben 1ten Januarius 1817. Er alter gebraucht auf 79 Jahr.".
