Howard E. Leber was born circa 1881. He was the son of

Angie Cecilia Blymyer. Howard E. Leber died on 5 April 1934 at
York Co., Pennsylvania. He was New Tag Obituary from a 6 April 1934 York Co., Pennsylvania newspaper:
"Howard E. Leber
Howard E. Leber died at his home, 329 East Philadelphia street at 1:55 a.m. yesterday of a complication of diseases. Mr. Leber, who was fifty three years old, was compelled to discontinue work as a freight conductor on the Pennsylvania railroad October 13, last, because of ill health. He leaves his wife; six children, Raymond B. Leber, 318 East Poplar street; Joseph H. Leber, 737 West Locust street; Mrs. Irene Henise, 722 York street, and William H. Leber, Jesse Leber and Howard Leber, Jr., at home; eight grandchildren; his stepfather, Henry Dellinger, who lived at the Leber home, and two stepbrothers, Henry Dellinger, 85 North Tremont street, and Ernie Dellinger, Manor Hill. Mr. Leber was affliated with the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and was a member of the Mennonite church at Stony Brook. He entered the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad as a painter in 1907. He was made an extra brakeman in 1918 and a regular brakeman in 1919. In 1920 he was promoted to extra conductor. Mr. Leber selected the pallbearers to serve at his funeral. They will be fellow railroaders. The funeral will be held on Saturday with services at his residence at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in the Stony Brook cemetery."
