Mary was born at
York Co., Pennsylvania, on 27 March 1847. She was the daughter of
Catherine (?). She married
Jonathan Dellinger at
Hellam Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, on 23 August 1866. Mary was listed as
Jonathan Dellinger's wife on the 1880 Census at
Chanceford Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. She resided at
Red Lion, York Co., Pennsylvania, in 1932. Mary Arnold was New Tag Obituary from a 4 December 1932 York Co., Pennsylvania newspaper:
"MRS. MARY DELLINGER DIES IN 86TH YEAR AT HOME IN DELROY
Delroy, Dec. 4 - Mrs. Mary Dellinger, widow of Jonathan Dellinger, died at 12:45 p.m. today at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Silar, this place. Death was caused by a heart condition, and followed a lengthy illness. Because a physician had not been in attendance within 24 hours of death, Coroner L.U. Zech issued the death certificate. She was aged 85 years, eight months and eight days. Her husband, who was a Civil War veteran, preceded her in death 12 years ago. Surviving are a son, Charles, Philadelphia, and three daughters, Mrs. Ida A. Silar, at whose home she died; Mrs. Lydia Kinard, Red Lion; and Mrs. Naomi Minnich, York; also 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday with brief services at the Silar home at 9:30 a.m. and concluding services in the Canadochly Reformed church. Interment will be made in St. Luke's cemetery, Chanceford township. Funeral Director G.W. Anstine, East Prospect, has charge of funeral arrangements." On 4 December 1932 at

York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 85. Her body was interred on 7 December 1932 at
Chanceford Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, at St. Luke's Cemetery.
