Ira Leon McGill III, 36, of San Rafael, Calif, formerly of York, died Wednesday at his home. He was the companion of Eleanor Wells.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Sunday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Road, York. The Keaton Mortuary, San Rafael, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McGill was born March 21, 1957, in Baltimore. He was the son of Nena (Dellinger) McGill of York, and of the late Dr. Ira L. McGill Jr.
He was part owner of Manderley Vintage Pillows. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Ross, Calif.
He attended York Suburban High School and graduated in 1975 from Winchendon (Mass.) School.
Mr. McGill also is survived by a brother, Andrew G. McGill of Smyrna, Ga; four sisters, Deanna Livingston, Susan Seiple, Martha McGill and Julie McGill, al of York, maternal grandmother Violet Dellinger of York; and paternal grandmother , Aileen McGill of Laurinburg, N.C.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Drew Sherman, pastor of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
