Charles Calvin Myers kept the family farm, purchased it solely and farmed until 1920 when he and Elizabeth moved to Carlisle, PA.
"Charles C. Myers, the eighth in the James Myers, Sr. family, was twenty-six years of age when his father died. The mother Barbara [Barbara Fishburn] with the help of the sons still at home operated the farm for several years. When she moved to her Newville home Charles took over the farm responsibilities. Later he purchased the farm and continued farming until 1920 when the farm property was sold and Charles, his wife [Elizabeth Hollinger Myers] and daughter [Lulu Rhey Myers] moved to Carlisle [Pennsylvania]." The address of the Carlisle house was 141 E. High Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
"... Still later she [Sarah Ellen Myers, "Aunt Sallie"] lived with her brother Charles and his wife, until her death in 1933, at the age of 91 years."
