Adam Crumbling and
Leah Poff, circa 1885 at
Pennsylvania. Emma was listed as
Franklin Crumbling's wife on the 1910 Census at
Lower Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. Emma Eliza Paules died on 27 January 1926 at
Windsor, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 60. She was New Tag Obituary from a 27 January 1926 York newspaper:
"Mrs. Franklin Crumbling
Windsor, Jan. 27 - Mrs. Emma Eliza Crumbling, wife of Franklin Crumbling, Main street, died this afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the age of 60 years, 10 months and 3 days. The funeral will be held Saturday morning with brief services at the house at 10 o'clock and concluding services in the Canadochly Reformed church. Undertakers Zarfos and Burg, Red Lion, have charge of the burial. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Horace, Hallam; Clarence, East Prospect; Mrs. Arthur Myers and Mrs. Arthur Chillis, Windsor; Mrs. Walter Dietz, Hallam, and Mrs. Spurgeon Gilbert, of Windsor; also nince grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Adam, Benjamin, Reuben, Margaret, Alice and Ida Paules, Windsor; John, Columbia; Moses, of Wrightsville; Mrs. Annie Dellinger, Mrs. John Holtzinger and Jacob Paules, Red Lion."
