Jacob O. Paules was born on 29 July 1871. He was the son of
George A. Paules and
Rebecca Fahringer. Jacob O. Paules died on 13 February 1928 at age 56. He was New Tag Obituary from a 14 Feb 1928 York Co., Pennsylvania newspaper:
"Jacob O. Paules "Dies
Jacob O. Paules died at 7:45 o'clock this evening at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Anna Dellinger, 27 Boundaray avenue, with he whom he made his home. He was aged 56 years, six months and 15 days. Death was caused by pneunomia and followed a short illness. Mr. Paules was a cigar-maker employed at the A.C. Frey and Son factory. He was a member of Kathadin lodge, No. 560, Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the Red Lion lodge of the Knights of Pythias. Surviving him are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Anna Dellinger, with whom he resided; Adam Paules, Benjamin Paules and Reuben A. Paules, Windsor; John W. Paules, Columbia; Moses A. Paules, Wrightsville; Miss Ida A. Paules and Mrs. John Holtzinger, both of this place.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the home of Mrs. Anna Dellinger. Further services will be held at St. Paul's Evangelical church, of which the deceased was a member. The pastor, Rev. Edward C. Basom, will officiate. Burial will be in the Red Lion cemetery. The body may be viewed Wednesday evening between the hours of 7 and 9. The funeral arrangements are in charge of Furnace B. Olewiler, local funeral director."
