Roberts, after 1683 at Merion Friends Meeting House, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; John and Gainor are said to be the first couple married at the Merion Friends Meeting House. John Roberts was land contract at Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; John and Gainor both came to America with deeds to property around Merion, Pennsylvania. It was there that John established his farm which he called Pencoyd. He was a malster by trade. He was buried in 1724 at Merion Meeting Cemetery, Narbeth, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania. He died in 1724 at Pennsylvania.
