"20 MINUTES LATE IN RACE WITH DEATH
Glen Rock, May 5 - John Rohrbaugh, Sr., died today at 2:40 o'clock at the Johns Hopkins hospital, Baltimore, after a three weeks illness, after being admitted to that institution for hardening of the arteries and heart disease. He was in his 79th year. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rohrbaugh, son and daughter-in-law were notified of the critical condition of Mr. Rohrbaugh, and they rushed to the hospital and arrived 20 minutes after he died.
Mr. Rohrbaugh was a retired farmer. He is survived by the following children: Luther, Howard, Glen Rock; Clarence, Denver, Col; Mrs. Jennie Sterner, Glen Rock; Mrs. Vertie Dellinger, Red Lion; Charles, Edward and John, Jr., Glen Rock, and also two sisters, Mrs. Wesley Glatfelter, York and Mrs. Albert Kessler, Hanover, and one brother, Dr. E.P. Rohrbaugh, Hood River, Ore. Mr. Rohrbaugh was in failing health for the past year."
