She married Jonas Rudisill at Lincoln Co., North Carolina, on 4 February 1817. Margaret died on 21 March 1886 at Gaston Co., North Carolina, at age 92. Her body was interred in March 1886 at Cherryville, Gaston Co., North Carolina, at St. Marks Lutheran Church Cemetery.
