Daniel Wesley Beaverson Sr. was born circa 1868. He was the son of
Emanuel Beaverson. Daniel Wesley Beaverson Sr. died on 26 July 1937 at

"D.W. BEAVERSON OF EAST PROSPECT TAKEN BY DEATH
East Prospect, July 27 - Daniel Wesley Beaverson, a farmer residing near here, died at 11:10 o'clock tonight, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Leiphart, Wrightsvill R.D. 1, where he had been taken following his removal from the York hospital seven days ago. He had been in ill health for six months, suffering from complications and underwent an operation at the hospital.
Mr. Beaverson, who was in his 69th year, is survived by seven children, Mrs. Harry Baker, Wrightsville R.D. 1; Mrs. Lincoln Dietz, this place; Daniel Beaverson, Jr., Wrightsville R.D. 1; Charles W. Beaverson, York R.D. 2; Mrs. Clarence Crumbling, East Prospect; Mrs. Roy Liephart, Wrightsville R.D. 1; and Mrs. Roy Shelley, East Prospect; 23 grandchildren; three brothers, Moses and Charles Beaverson, Windsor, R.D. 1; and George Beaverson, Craley; and three sisters; Mrs. Edward Oleweiler, Wrightsville R.D. 1; Mrs. Wesley Gipe, Craley and Mrs. Charles Dellinger, Red Lion.
Mr. Beaverson was member of St. Paul's United Evangelical church York, and held membership in the local lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
The body was removed to the Burg Funeral home at Red Lion to be prepared for burial, and will be brought to the late home of the deceased on Thursday, where it may be viewed in the evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. The funeral will be held Friday, with brief services at the house at 1:30 p.m. and further services at Zion Evangelical church, here. Interment will be made in the East Prospect cemetery. Funeral Director Henry F. Burg, of the firm of Earl B. Burg and Son, will be in charge."
