In 1778 Henry purchased from the other heirs of his father, Jonas, 192 acres of land in Paradise, now Jackson, Township (part of the tract that was patented to Jonas), which Henry's executors sold to Michael Spangler (the son of Philip Casper Spengler) on April 8, 1791. The land was then conveyed to Michael's two sons, Zachariah and Jesse Spangler. In 1789 Henry was assess 2 horses and 2 cows. Henry belonged to the Seventh Company of the Seventh Battalion, York County Militia during the American Revolution.
Henry was born in 1750. He was the son of
Jonas Spengler and
Maria Stinia Kindigen. He married
Maria Clara Hoke at
Pennsylvania on 28 October 1779. Henry died in 1791 at
Jackson Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania.
