William H. Stauffer was born on 26 October 1914 at
Hellam Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of
Henry Frederick Stauffer and
Grace Alverta Leiphart. William H. Stauffer died on 23 March 1999 at

"York - William H. Stauffer, 84, of York, formerly of Hellam Township, died at 6:23 a.m. Tuesday at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Alverta May (Dellinger) Stauffer. The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home Inc., 700 Hellam St., Wrightsville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stauffer was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Hellam Township. He was the son of the late Henry F. and Grace A. (Leiphart) Stauffer.
He retired from Specialty Industries in Red Lion, where he was a woodworker. He had also worked at the former Hellam Furniture Co. and the former Red Lion Table Co. He was a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church, Highmount.
Mr. Stauffer is survived by a brother, Richard H. Stauffer of York; a sister, Elizabeth Heisey of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Edward H. Yarnell, pastor of Longstown United Methodist Church.
