TAYLOR, LINDSEY LEE - Funeral services for Lindsey Lee Taylor, age 82, of Route 1, city, who died at the residence of a son, Clarence W. Taylor, Saturday 11:10 p.m., will be held Tuesday 10:30 a.m. from the Cherokee Methodist Church. Rev. John Y. Bacon, and Rev. Guy Foster to officiate. Interment in the Taylor family cemetery. Pallbearers wil be the following grandsons, Wallace, Wilson, and Everett Taylor and Donald Durham, Ulyess Ragan, J. W. Shew, 2nd, Joe Ebarb, Bud Henley. Flower bearers wil be granddaughters and friends. The body will be returned to the residence of a son, Clarence W. Taylor, Route 1, Monday 2:00 p.m. and will remain there until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at which time it will be removed to the church to lie in state. Appalachian Funeral Home in charge.

LINDSEY LEE TAYLOR
Lindsey Lee Taylor, 82, Rt. 1, died at the home of a son, Clarence W. Taylor, at 11:10 p.m. Saturday. Taylor was a native of Mitchell County, N. C., but had resided here for the past 35 years. He was the son of the late M. D. and Tompsie Wiseman Taylor. A member of the Buck Hill Presbyterian Church in North Carolina, Taylor was a retired carpenter and farmer. Survivors include four sons: E. S. Taylor, C. W. Taylor, H. F. Taylor, and Roy L. Taylor al of Johnson City; four daughters, Mrs. Allie Jackson of Brandford, Conn., Mrs. Edna Richardson, Mrs. Marie Harvey and Mrs. Marion Shew, all of Johnson City; one brother, A. S. Taylor of Pyatte, N. C; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Faile, Rock Hill, S. C., Cozie Taylor of Pyatte, N. C., and Elma Taylor of Morganton, N. C; 29 grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children and several nieces and nephews. Appalachian Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
