Adam Wylie was born circa 1680 at
Scotland. He was the son of
Andrew Wylie. Adam Wylie married
Jean (?). Adam Wylie was migration; Adam and his wife, Jean, migrated to Ireland with family members during the "War of Forty" when the Scotish Covenenters, or Reform Presbyterians were persecuted in the homeland. They settled in Ballymena, County Antrim, Ireland. He married
Margaret Brown circa 1718 at
Maylarg, Co. Antrim, Ireland. Adam Wylie died in 1754 at
Ballymena, Co. Antrim, Ireland; One source states that Adam died on 30 Jan. 1778, however that means he died at the age of 98, which seems unlikely.
