Ellen was born at
Codorus Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, on 4 June 1864. She was the daughter of
Jacob Brenneman and
Julia Sterner. She married
Clinton Fillmore Dellinger at
York Co., Pennsylvania, on 26 March 1893. Ellen died on 18 February 1945 at
York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 80. She was New Tag Obituary from a York newspaper:
"Octogenarian Formerly Of Dallastown Expires
Dallastown - Mrs. Ellen Dellinger, formerly of this place, was claimed by death yesterday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock at the Krout Convalescent home, York R.D. 2. She was the widow of Clinton F. Dellinger and was 80 years old.
She leaves: Eight children, James Rohrbaugh, Glen Rock R.D; Mrs. Harry Ness, Dallastown R.D. 1; Mrs. John A. Bupp, York R.D. 2; McKinley Dellinger, York; Mrs. George H. Hess, York R.D. 5; Mrs. Stewart N. Ness, York, and Theodore R. Dell, Dallastown; 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one brother, George S. Brenneman, Glenville.
Rev. S.L. Hench will be in charge of the funeral services from the Purd A. Reidel Funeral home, Dallastown, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Union cemetery, Dallastown."
In another obituary, it states that Ellen was 80 years, 8 months and 14 days old when she died.

Dallastown, York Co., Pennsylvania, at Dallastown Union Cemetery. Funeral notice from a York newspaper:
"Former Resident Of Dallastown Buried
Dallastown - Services for Mrs. Ellen Dellinger, formerly of this place, who died Sunday afternoon at the Krout Convalescent home, R.D. 2, were held from the Purd A. Reidel Funeral home yesterday afternoon by Rev. S.L. Hench, pastor of Christ Lutheran church.
The pallbearers were: McKinley Dellinger, Theodore Dellinger, George Dellinger, George S. Hess, Harry Ness and James Rohrbaugh. Mrs. Rachel Miller and Mrs. Mary Snyder sang "If Christ Should Come" and "Come Unto Me." Interment was in the Union cemetery, this place."
