John BUCE * Rutha SMITH
John Buce was born about 1780 in North Carolina. He married Rutha Smith, who was born about 1780. Rutha was the daughter of Capt. William and Celia Smith. John died in 1855 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Rutha died after 1857, probably in Tallapoosa County as well.
Rutha had two sisters that are covered in the pages of this website: Sarah Smith, wife of Thomas McBurnett, and Celia Smith, wife of Elijah Jordan.
