Seaborn J. GOLDEN Sr.

Seaborn Golden Sr. was born on 22 January 1799 in Georgia, probably Lincoln County. He was the son of Mark Golden, born 1762. He is thought to have married Elizabeth Johnson. He later married Levina Johnston Hudgens on 15 June 1828 in Lincoln County, Georgia. Levina was born 13 November 1805 in Lincoln County and died on 10 April 1885. She is buried in the Liberty City Cemetery (Salem Baptist Church), Tallapoosa County, Alabama. She was first married to Stephen Hudgins on 24 September 1819 in Wilkes County, Georgia. Seaborn died on 07 April 1859, at the age of 60 years.

Levinia was the sister of John Johnston, another prominent Tallapoosa County Johnston.
