In the name of God, Amen, I Francis Meriwether of Tennessee, being weak in body but sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament hereby revoking any and other will or wills by me made. That is to say, I hereby give and devise to my mother Louisa Meriwether and my beloved brother James G. Meriwether jointly all and every of my personal property of whatever kind or description together with any all all my right and interest in & to the Lands belonging to my Father’s estate and any and all other interest I may have in said Estate and any and all other interest I may have in said Estate on Final Settlement of the same. But on the death of either of said parties my will is that the said bequest descend to and vest in the survivor absolutely and unconditionally. They appropriating a sufficiency of the above or any other means that may come into their possession for the payment of my just debts. I hereby constitute and appoint my said Brother James G. Meriwether my sole executor to his my last will and Testament, he being invested with all necessary power to carry out, execute the provision specified above in as full and ample a manner as tho I were acting in person.
